The ozone treatment can be used very effectively for the disinfection
and microflocculation of fresh and salt water used in aquatic
and aquaculture applications.

Zebra Mussel Control:
BAI pioneered the use of the environmentally friendly ozone treatment
for control of Zebra Mussel infestation of intakes and piping
of water treatment plants, fish hatcheries, power plants and other
similar systems. A side stream ozonation process appears to be
exceptionally effective for controlling the infestation. A patent
has been issued to BAI covering the use of ozone for Zebra Mussel
control.
